- The neon lamp provides the grazing lightning, that makes
- easier the positioning of the slices stretched on the water surface.
- The temperature of the water is checked by a probe soaked in the water and displayed by an electric thermostat, and it is possible to set it out from room temperature to 70°C ± 1°C.
- When the probe is moved up to remove the basin, the power is switched off.
- The instrument is provided with an hot plate at adjustable temperature (up to +70 °C) which permits a quick dr ying of up to 26 slides.

Die elektronische Temperaturregelung mit Digitalanzeige sorgt für eine schnelle und präzise Einstellung und Kontrolle der Wassertemperatur im Bereich von +30° C bis +60° C. Der beheizte Rand des WATERBATH 1000 erlaubt eine schonende Trocknung von bis zu 40 Objektträgern für beste Arbeitsergebnisse. Durch sein geringes Gewicht von nur 5,2 kg im befüllten Zustand ist das WATERBATH 1000 leicht und einfach zu handhaben und zu reinigen.

Das pfm WATERBATH 1000 ist ein rechteckiges Streckbad für Paraffinschnitte in der Routine und Forschung im histologischen Labor. Gefertigt aus einer Kombination aus Edelstahl und Pulver beschichtetem Aluminium wird Korrosion ausgeschlossen und so eine hohe Lebensdauer erzielt.
